David has been in public practice since 1989. He has considerable experience in financial statement preparation, audits, tax services (businesses and personal) and business consulting, and has worked closely with companies of all sizes spanning numerous industries with special emphasis on real estate development and property management.  As a consultant, David also avails himself to various businesses from start-up to dissolution and assists business owners in managing their businesses and minimizing their risks.

 

In 2003, David was certified as a Certified Fraud Examiner and conducts fraud risk assessments, internal control examinations and fraud examinations. In addition, David has been called as an expert witness to testify in litigation cases.

 

David presents workshops and seminars, and regularly contributes articles to various industry publications. He was named one of Baltimore's top 40 accountants in Baltimore's Smart CEO Magazine in 2005, 2006 and again in 2012.

 

David is a graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, and is licensed in Colorado and Maryland.

 

David is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA)  and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

 

David serves as President and Chairman of the Board of a non-profit organization.
